Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026. Mongoose CRM is a product of Mongoose Labs, operated by Mongoose Athanor LLC ("we," "us," "our").

1. What we collect

Your account email and password (as a salted, stretched hash -- we never store or see your raw password). The contacts, deals, and tasks you enter are yours; we store them to provide the service and do not sell or share them with third parties for advertising.

2. Payment information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details -- Stripe handles that directly and we receive only a confirmation and your subscription status.

3. Your data: download it, or delete it

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can download all of it at any time (Data tab: "Download everything (JSON)", or your contacts as a CSV), and you can delete your account yourself from the Billing tab. Deleting cancels any subscription first and then permanently removes every contact, deal, task and note; it can't be undone.

3a. Signing in with Mongoose ID (optional)

If you choose "Continue with Mongoose," you approve the connection on mongooselabs.app. CRM then receives a random identifier that is unique to CRM, your Mongoose account's email address, and the permissions you approved. If you approve it, a summary of your CRM numbers (how many people, your open pipeline, open tasks) is shown in your Mongoose wallet, and Mongoose agents you choose can work in CRM on your behalf; they can never sign in, delete your account or change billing. CRM never receives your Mongoose password, and accounts are never linked by email address alone. You can disconnect CRM from your Mongoose account's Connected apps.

4. Security

Passwords are never stored in plaintext or in any recoverable form -- a client-side PBKDF2 stretch followed by a server-side stretch, industry-standard practice. Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

5. Accessibility

Mongoose Athanor LLC is committed to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards across this product.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
